Instructional Strategies/Learning Activities

This course is entirely online and asynchronous, with a once-a-week virtual session that is facilitated by an instructor. Prior to the sessions, students must complete all pre-session readings, videos, learning tasks and discussion journals. Pre-session activities are designed to be self-paced and can be done independently by participants at home. Each essentials course may have more than one chapter, which will consist of different lesson topics. Students are responsible for keeping track of what lessons to complete for each chapter within the course prior to the virtual sessions. This can be done by checking the course schedule in the syllabus.
