30 Regulation and Safety Course Description

The Regulation and Safety course will focus on work safety, safe work practices, safety procedures and regulations in the workplace. During this course, students will identify safe lifting techniques, safe ladder use, the lock out tag out procedure, work area hazards, the building code, the emergency response procedure, power equipment limitation and safety, as well as quality inspection. Students will also complete practice exercises and quizzes to demonstrate their understanding of work safety, practices, procedures, and regulations in the workplace.
