59 Basic Engine Maintenance and Repair Course Description

The Basic and Engine Maintenance and Repair course will focus on the general knowledge and awareness of small engine equipment maintenance and repair. During this course, students will learn the basic tools used in maintenance and repair, types of small engines and their functions, fuel systems, ignition systems, and centrifugal clutches. This course also provides the knowledge for students to troubleshoot small engines in order to perform maintenance and repair. Student will also
demonstrate their understanding and skills through on-site performance tasks at their workplace.
