Course Conclusion

In conclusion, the Fundamentals of Strategic Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation for Managers course provides a comprehensive introduction to the importance of strategic planning in public works and housing management in First Nation communities. Through the course, managers were able to identify, create, and evaluate a strategic plan, involve key stakeholders, create an operational plan, and report findings to the community. This six-lesson course, along with the Capstone assignment, helped managers improve daily tasks through change management, continuous learning culture, policy development and implementation, leveraging resources, system thinking, and succession planning. Overall, managers completing this course are better equipped to navigate the complexities of strategic planning in their field and improve outcomes for their communities.
